このたび川田画廊は、台北のHotel Royal-Nikko Taipei（台北老爺大酒店）にて開催される「Contemporary Art Show INFINITY JAPAN 2026」に出展いたします。
INFINITY JAPANは、2013年の創設以来、日本各地のギャラリーと現代美術を台湾に紹介してきたアートフェアです。東京、大阪、京都、神戸をはじめ、それぞれの地域に根差したギャラリーが集い、多様な日本の現代美術を紹介するとともに、台湾と日本を結ぶ文化交流の場を築いてきました。
2026年は、台北を代表するホテルの一つである台北老爺大酒店を会場に、3日間にわたって開催されます。ホテルならではの落ち着いた空間の中で、作品と鑑賞者がより近い距離で向き合う、親密なアートフェアとなります。
川田画廊からは、光内亘利、松枝悠希、田中梢、矢原繁長の4名を紹介いたします。
自由で詩的な線によって、現実と空想の間に佇む存在を描く光内亘利。身近な日用品に新たな生命と動きを与え、平面から立体へ飛び出す瞬間を表現する松枝悠希。自ら撮影した風景をもとに、記憶や美術史の断片が静かに交差する絵画を制作する田中梢。そして、言葉や詩を「封印する」「消す」という行為を通して、美術と文学の境界を探究する矢原繁長。
それぞれに異なる素材と視点を持つ4名の作品を通して、日本の現代美術が内包する多様な感性と表現をご覧いただきます。

Contemporary Art Show INFINITY JAPAN 2026
KAWATA GALLERY is pleased to announce its participation in Contemporary Art Show INFINITY JAPAN 2026, to be held at Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei in Taiwan.
Since its establishment in 2013, INFINITY JAPAN has introduced galleries and contemporary art from across Japan to audiences in Taiwan. Bringing together galleries rooted in cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe, the fair presents the diversity of contemporary Japanese art while fostering cultural exchange between Taiwan and Japan.
The 2026 edition will take place over three days at Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei, one of the city’s leading hotels. The intimate and relaxed hotel setting offers visitors an opportunity to encounter artworks at close range and engage with them in a more personal atmosphere.
KAWATA GALLERY will present works by four artists: Noritoshi Mitsuuchi, Yuki Matsueda, Kozue Tanaka, and Shigenaga Yahara.
Noritoshi Mitsuuchi depicts figures poised between reality and imagination through free and poetic lines. Yuki Matsueda gives new life and movement to familiar everyday objects, capturing the moment when they appear to emerge from two-dimensional surfaces into three-dimensional space. Kozue Tanaka creates paintings based on landscapes she has photographed herself, allowing fragments of memory and art history to intersect quietly within her works. Shigenaga Yahara explores the boundaries between visual art and literature through acts of “sealing” and “erasing” words and poetry.
Through the distinctive materials and perspectives of these four artists, the presentation will highlight the diverse sensibilities and forms of expression found within contemporary Japanese art.
